We survived the helicopter ride. Unfortunately for Chris he got very motion sick and was almost "green" before we arrived back.

We made it to the top where the waterfall was. It rained on us on the way up and just got misty enough to make my hair go really curly. After we barely made it to the top we had to hike all the way back down!!!
The Kalalau Trail hike
Very muddy shoes after our hike from the waterfall. We still had two miles to get down to the bottom.
Our last day after church we went back to the Condo and had a really nice dinner. We had tri-tip, corn on the cob, fresh pineapple, asparagus, and treats. We went around the table and everyone said what their favorite part of the trip was. I was thinking my favorite part was being with like minded people who loved the Lord and had such great values. We really enjoyed being with Chris, Marie, Alan and Laura not because they are so fun but because they are such great people. I didn't say it immediately because I thought "that is so cheesy" but it is what came to my mind first. I then decided to say it and everyone else said they had that thought too. We enjoyed our time with everyone and now I really want to take all my children and their spouses....:)
We had a great time visiting the local branch in Kauai. There was a great spirit among the people and the visitors. I love the Lord and love to feel the closeness of the people in all the areas of the church.

We were hurrying to get back down so we could see this beautiful sunset on the water. It was worth the fast hike down. We all sat on the sand mesmerized by the beauty of this beautiful earth God has created for us!
